Crocodile Penguin is an episode of the television series Hello Kitty's Furry Tale Theater that is based on the movie Crocodile Dundee.
Story[]
G'day, boys and girls! Hello Kitty's newest pal is Crocodile Penguin, wrestling champ of Australia. And with a little unintended help from Catnip and Fangora, he'll soon be champion of the world!
Plot[]
The story begins in the faraway city of Sydney, Australia, where the mighty wrestler, Crocodile Penguin, fought for the Australian Championship. His opponent was a crocodile as Croc fools him by moving beside him, then grabs him by the tail and throws in him into the air, sending him flying from the Opera House to a flagpole on the Harbour Bridge. Everyone cheered for Crocodile Penguin's victory as he and his manager, Chip, pose for a picture.
The picture is seen on the Bush Telegraph, where at the Kitty Times Office in New York City, the publisher sees Crocodile Penguin as a star in Australia, so she sends two of her staff, writer Hello Kitty, and photographer My Melody, for a booked flight to Australia to write a story of him. She also informs that he is said to be hard to talk to, but Kitty decides to get him to talk regardless.
Somewhere else in the city, Fangora sees about Crocodile Penguin and shows it to Catnip, to which they find him worthy to fight Hulk Alligator, and finally have a World Championship. Catnip shows Hulk about this, much to his puzzlement of what or where Australia is and knowing much about it, but doesn't care anyway as he will just simply pulverize him. Fangora restates to him that everyone's scared to wrestle him and that Crocodile Penguin might be dumb enough to try. So the plan; send him to New York. Catnip can already see the vision of what will happen; World Wrestling Championship at Catison Square Garden, Hulk Alligator v. Crocodile Penguin.
Hello Kitty and My Melody board a plane from JFK Airport to Sydney Airport, then drive to a milk bar, where Chip greets them as Melody begins taking photos. As they enter the bar, Catnip rolls alongside and enters as well. Just then, Crocodile Penguin rolls in tackling an inflatable crocodile, much to Kitty's worry as he might need help, until he takes off the cap and the inflatable flies off. Croc introduces himself to them, but Kitty and Melody weren't amused of what was going on. He regardlessly asks them if they were the reporters from the U.S., as Kitty greets herself and Croc kisses her paw. He asks them of what they want to know about, to which she replies with everything, mainly of how he started wrestling. So he decides to take them to the Outback to explain, which Kitty and Melody are excited about. As they head out, Chip is knocked by the swing door and is caught by Catnip. She asks him if he's the manager, to which he responds with a yes, as she has for him "a deal he can't refuse."
At the Outback, Croc, Kitty and Melody, are riding on a boat down the river to which Kitty finds it very peaceful since she expected crocodiles at every turn. Then she speaks too soon, as a crocodile emerges from the river and tries to take Kitty's purse. Croc takes action by trying to make the crocodile let go of it because it's not his. He then decides to place a paddle on the crocodile's mouth and grabs the purse, calling him a bad crocodile. The crocodile starts crying as he goes back into the river, with Croc telling him to turn off his crocodile tears. Kitty thanks him and tells him that it was great. Croc becomes flattered, since it was "all in a day's work." He decides that they should stop for lunch, to which the two agree.
Just behind them, Catnip and Chip come across a fork. Chip tells her that Croc always goes to the right, until the crocodile from earlier rips the motor off the boat and eats it up, until the motor causes him to drive uncontrollably. Chips asks her for the paddles, but she threw them out as they were "in the way." The crocodile comes back and hits their boat which causes it to spin uncontrollably down the river, forcing them to the left of the fork, to which Chip finds it as a shortcut.
Somewhere beside a waterfall, Crocodile Penguin explains his life and career to Kitty and Melody, where Kitty writes down of what he was saying as she and Melody try to stay awake after his long story of himself, but end up falling asleep anyway. Just then, Catnip and Chip ride off the waterfall and their boat crashes into the ground which startles Kitty and Melody awake. Before Croc could say anything, Chip interrupts him saying that he is to fight Hulk Alligator in New York City next week for the World Championship. Kitty is horrified about Croc having to fight that cheater, but the contract was already signed by Chip. Kitty warns Croc about Hulk, as he responds with "All the more reason I should take him on?," so everyone heads to NYC.
A huge welcoming crowd greets Crocodile Penguin from JFK Airport, to Times Square, and to the hotel, with press cameramen taking photos. At his hotel room, Croc decides to take a "scrub in the tub." He sees a bottle of bubble bath, much to his confusion of what it is, but decides to give it a go anyway. Kitty was about to check up on Croc to take him sightseeing around NYC, until she hears him call for help and sees the bathroom overflowing of bubbles. She opens the door and the hotel room is soon covered in pink, wet bubbles, as Melody takes a photo.
At the day of the event at Catison Square Garden, Crocodile Penguin and Hulk Alligator are about to come face to face at the ring as the fight begins! Croc manages to outmaneuver Hulk twice, until he grabs the penguin and stacks up on him. Before Croc would end up losing to Hulk, Chip acts quick and pumps air onto Croc and balloons off him. Croc begins to tease Hulk like a bull and causes him to bounce from rope to rope, leaving him dizzy. Hulk attempts to retaliate Croc after calling him "sewer breath" with his tail, but ends up wrapping himself with it, until Croc grabs Hulk by the tail and sends him flying from the stadium and onto the Statue of Liberty's torch. Crocodile Penguin is hailed as the new Wrestling Champion of the World as everyone cheers for him, much to Catnip's disappointment. Kitty is happy about Croc's victory and tells him what's next, which his reply is "home to the Outback." She says it's dangerous, but he doesn't find it as dangerous as city life for him. She tells him that they will miss him, but he tells her that they can drop in sometime to toss some more shrimp, as Crocodile Penguin, Chip and Hello Kitty pose for the picture as My Melody takes it, and the story ends.
