The Wonderful Sisters is an episode of the television series Hello Kitty and Friends.

Summary[]

A new boy named Robert joins the school, and Mimmy thinks he's interesting. Later, Robert makes his way to the Whites' house thanks to some directions, but Kitty accidentally bamboozles him as to which is which.

Plot[]

Boyfriend Dreams[]

The episode begins as Mimmy is reading her book when Kitty runs up, wondering what Mimmy is reading. Mimmy reveals that she is reading Cinderella, mentioning that she cannot wait until Prince Charming shows up. Kitty and Mimmy then envision how their boyfriends would be. While Kitty envisions that her boyfriend would be an energetic athlete (although she admits that she cannot find any boys like that around school), Mimmy believes that hers will be more focused on academics and a bookworm as well as polite. Mimmy then admits that she wishes that she would be more outgoing just like Kitty is.

Some boys and a sheep girl come by. One of the boys throws a ball, and Kitty catches it. The boy who threw the ball then invites Kitty to a dodgeball game, but Kitty turns down the offer. Another boy asks what she and Mimmy were dreaming about, but Kitty withholds it out of concern for embarrassment. Kitty and Mimmy leave as the boys wonder what is going on. The sheep answers their question by saying that Kitty and Mimmy were dreaming about their new boyfriends. One boy asks if the boyfriend is going to be from the same school, and she answers his question by claiming that he and the other boys in the group are not going to be the boyfriend.

A New Boy?[]

Later, Mimmy reveals that she and the boy dreamed up by her met at a grocery store. The boy was asking for directions to the library. Mimmy then admits that she was too nervous to ask for his name and is worried that she will never see him again. Kitty is sure that Mimmy and the boy will meet again, as she claims that the boy is just getting to know his way around town.

The next day, Kitty and Mimmy meet someone coming to school, and Mimmy recognises him as the boy at the grocery store. Kitty and Mimmy are excited.

In class, the sheep appears, stating that she has an announcement to make: a new boy is named Robert is coming to school. Unfortunately, his teacher is a different teacher. Mimmy is worried, wondering how she and this new boy will meet now.

Meeting Robert[]

Mimmy is so shy over meeting the new boy that she excuses herself from dinner. Kitty goes up to talk with her, telling Mimmy that she can just meet up with him at the library. Mimmy agrees with that plan, although she reads her book upside-down when she sits beside him, which she finds to her shock. While she attempts to righten the book, Mimmy drops the book on the table, getting the boy's attention. The boy introduces himself, giving his name as Robert and claiming to have just moved in last week with his family. The two talk about their days, then the books they are reading. However, Mimmy accidentally gives Stone Henge's purpose to be dinosaurs, and Robert responds by stating that the monument's purpose was largely unknown, but it was most likely an astrological monument meant for planning harvests.

Mimmy comes back and describes the meeting, which Kitty finds to her excitement. Mimmy, as she believes that she had embarrassed herself, flees inside, so they have a pep talk where Kitty promises that Robert wasn't laughing at Mimmy herself and that Mimmy wouldn't want to be friends with someone who does not laugh at all. When Kitty suggests that Mimmy could make some pie, Mimmy is intrigued, so she gets baking. Her pie is a success. Later, Mimmy describes how Robert loved the pie and she left a welcome note. Kitty responds by telling her that the former should have stopped and said something. Mary then comes in and asks for one of them to go to the grocery store, and Kitty volunteers, hoping she can meet the boy of her own dreams there.

Sabotage?[]

Kitty rides her bike to the store, where she and Robert (who mistakes her for Mimmy) meet up. Kitty tries to explain that she really is not Mimmy, but Robert just thinks that she changed her clothes. This leads to disaster when Kitty bungles Mimmy's pie recipe, and Robert winds up eating a slimy brown mess of pie.

Mimmy is outraged when she discovers the fiasco, and accuses her sister of sabotage. Kitty tries to explain that she was just trying to help, only to be ignored as Mimmy flees to the bedroom. Mary decides that she and Mimmy should talk.

Mary explains that Kitty was just acting in Mimmy's favour. Mimmy later agrees, but then fears that Robert will become very disappointed and think that she did not make that pie. Kitty then comes up with a plan to help Mimmy once and for all.

Robert Visits The Whites[]

Kitty and Robert meet up at school, where they talk about yesterday's fiasco. Posing as Mimmy, Kitty apologises for being upset, and Robert replies that she was just confused. Robert asks for directions to the Whites' house, which Kitty quickly puts on a map as she tells Mimmy to bake back at home. Kitty delivers the directions, and Robert makes his way there while George is mowing his lawn while Mimmy makes the pie.

When Robert enters the house, Kitty decides to admit the truth, but Robert thinks that "Mimmy" is just being funny until he steps into the kitchen, where Mimmy is making the pie that she made a few days ago. Bamboozled, Robert runs back and forth between the girls as he asks which one is which.

Robert and the Whites explain the situation at the table. Robert then realises that Kitty was telling the truth back there, noting that Mimmy was shy when she and Robert met at the library. He then notes that Kitty was not shy at all when she and Robert met at the grocery store and she did not know the pie recipe very well. Kitty replies to that by claiming that she cannot bake well. Robert then proposes that they all can be friends. Giving a flower to each of the girls, Robert notes his desire to have siblings. Mimmy then reveals that she and Kitty sometimes fight over silly things. The two also decide to give him the rest of their pieces of the pie, which Robert finds to his excitement. The episode ends as he and the Whites enjoy their pie.
