Pankunchi

Pankunchi (ぱんくんち, Pan kunchi) is a baby boy panda bear character from the Japanese company Sanrio. When he was very little he was abandoned in a cardboard box in a bamboo forest where other pandas live. Inside the cardboard box was a pair of mittens which he now treasures. Pankunchi left the bamboo forest in search of bread to eat. He found bread, Shokupan and Koppepan, but instead of eating them they became his friends. Pankunchi still loves eating bread and when he sees his bread friends his stomach growls in hunger, but he is a good friend and will never hurt them.

Pankunchi and his friends live in a dome shaped house that looks just like Pankunchi's head, with ears, eyes, and a beige door where the mouth would be.

Ranking in the Sanrio Character Ranking[]

In the 2013 Sanrio Character Ranking if Pankunchi reached 30th place or higher, you could spread jam on Shokupan and Koppepan and eat them! However, he failed to reach that rank.
